I started my career working in Graphic Design for print, and over the years developed a variety of creative experiences working in Graphics, Photography, Events, Marketing, Publishing, Print, Digital and in a variety of contexts, media, technology and languages. For over 20 years I worked in many industries and with many brands.
I eventually decided to become a self-employed designer and artist, and over the recent years began to focus more on my personal art.
I also have an enormous passion for plants and botany, especially propagation. I manage a plant nursery in Oakington which takes up much of my time over the growing season. Nothing brings more joy and satisfaction than growing something from a cutting or seed! I have an RHS diploma, and have grown plants for a Silver-Gilt medal winning garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
I like to combine my passion for plants with art in any way I can. I am also enthusiastic to share different techniques and discoveries, through teaching workshops to art groups. Out of the growing season my favourite thing to do is drawing, experimenting with different art techniques, and learning about other inspirational artists.
